Name:Elisabeth "Liz" Harrison
Birthdate:Jun 9
Location:New York, New York, United States
Elisabeth Anne Harrison is a native born New Yorker, born and raised in Westchester, the daughter of a high school gym teacher, and a stay-at-home mother. Her parents met when her mother, Andrea, was part of a college missionary team in New York City, and her dad, Stephen, was in summer classes at NYU and helped to host the the missionary team. When her mother went back home to Northeast Georgia, where she was from, the two of them kept in touch, united through their religion and the chemistry that immediately sprung up between them. Stephen came down South to visit her as often as he could, and after a couple of years of courtship, he asked her father's permission to marry her.

The pair were married in a very religious ceremony, and after honeymooning in the mountains of North Carolina, they made the move back to New York where they set up a home together. The pair went on to have five children together, of which Liz is right in the middle with an older brother and sister, and two younger brothers. They were all raised with the very strict religious ideals of their parents, and grew up in church every time the doors were open. There were very strict rules that they had to follow, and both of Elisabeth's older siblings were married in their early twenties and had sex for the first time on their wedding night.

Elisabeth, however, didn't really date much through high school, instead focusing on her dream career, which was to own a bake shop. She loved baking and decorating cakes, and she went to culinary school to focus her skills that much more. Once she'd graduated, she went to work at a local bake shop for a few years, putting money away as much as she could because she wanted to do this herself. She was finally able to score a cute little spot for her bakery, opening it herself, and specializing in custom cakes. Her cakes have been served at some of the most up-and-coming celebrity weddings in New York, and she has a close working relationship with Lee McKenna, one of New York's best known wedding planners.

She continues to attend her parents' church and follow the religious rules set in place there, but there are things that she has begun to question. Like why a loving God would allow for people doing what he supposedly asked them to do, to be murdered, a question she began to face when her best friend from childhood was killed on a missionary trip. Or why she has never found much comfort in the reassurances of others that loved ones who'd passed on were "with the Lord" now.

But still, if questioned, she will maintain that she is incredibly close to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that she believes firmly in the way she was raised.
